Minds On ~ Hands On
Science
Inquiry Science for Students! Patti has been teaching science from a Christian worldview in the The goal is to make science not only hands-on, but minds-on discovering all that God has created for us to enjoy. Quoting a mom, “Patti is a great science teacher, very knowledgeable, patient and thorough. She is also very kind to the students. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the future.” Students have a way of remembering when their minds and hands are engaged. “Nick loved it and learned and remembers a lot! He's still talking about it.” Students need to defend their beliefs and know the difference between empirical science and faith. One mom noted, “We had some very interesting family dinner discussions centered around the fallacies she had once thought were truths (6 years of public school! :-(Very scary!). It was so nice to hear her able to explain and defend the real truth.” Register for science camps soon. If you didn’t quite do science justice in your school year, or your student has a voracious appetite for science, or you want to keep their sense of curiosity, take the advice of this mom, “Heather probably learned more science in these 3 weeks than she had in the entire school year before! It was fun, informative, fast-paced, and worth every penny. You have a way of sharing your excitement with the kids that they just can't help "catching" it!” Registration is open for high school biology and chemistry 2008-09 classes.
